How To Unlock Super Sonic or a Super Version of any of the playable characters: Collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds. Every of the 7 Zones has 1 Chaos Emerald hidden in it. Once that’s done, during gameplay select the Super ability from the flexibility wheel using the proper analogue stick and activate it with the confirmation button; Y (on Switch) / Square (on PlayStation) / X (on Xbox).
Note: You might be required to have collected a minimum of 50 rings on the stage you’re on. Once Super is turned on, you’ll notice your rings total will progressively whittle all the way down to zero, meaning Super only stays lively until you run out of rings.
